He was diagnosed with a lateral luxating patella and euthanasia was discussed after we were told he wasn't a candidate for surgery. The knee cap itself is essentially rotated to the outside and all 3 tendons are invovled. The joint itself was comprised from years of arthritis build up as well. After a couple weeks of good groceries and joint supplements--he began to run and play! Proving all of the vets wrong, he simply isn't ready to leave us. He will live his days out at WRR until he becomes uncomfortable or further medical intervention is required.
